It was founded in the year 1960 by the renowned Sufi Saint and Scholar, Qalandar Baba Auliya. In this modern age of science, mankind accepts only that which is presented with scientific reasoning and logic. The mission is also to align mankind to the path of ascension through meditative contemplation (Muraqba). The learnings are simple and made easy for the general masses to comprehend and move towards highest levels of consciousness, which may lead them to the cognition of their Lord Creator. The Imam of Silsial Azeemia, His Divine Grace Hassan Ukhra Syed Mohammad Azeem Burkhiya alis Qalander Baba Auliya, was born in the town of Khorja, District Buland Shehr, Utter Pradesh, India in 1898 AD. The gist of his teachings is that man was not created only to strive for his sustenance. The actual purpose of creating man was to attain self-realization and cognize his merciful Benefactor, Lord Creator, God. Qalandar Baba Auliya passed away into eterniy on 27th January, 1979. He appointed his able student Khwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi as his successor and Khanwada. Khanwada is the person whome the Imam-e-Silsila selects to transfer his mind and the latter becomes the replica of the Imam.

He was blessed with spiritual guidance of Khwaja Shamshudin Azeemi, which profoundly influenced his spiritual journey.
